DETOX

Time of spring is a truly wonderful time for embarking on a cleansing program. The powerful forces of nature are actively supporting our body’s system and providing an ideal environment for a comprehensive detox program.

Do we actually need a detoxication?

Yes, we absolutely do. In our modern lives, we often consume a substantial amount of processed food, alcohol, sugar, plastics, and even excess heavy metals. Moreover, we inhale and absorb various harmful chemicals that are present in our everyday environment.
Typically, during the winter months, we tend to eat heavier meals and choose comfort foods that often provide satisfaction but lack the nourishment our bodies truly need.

The presence of parasites in our digestive system is more common than many people might think, leading to a range of uncomfortable symptoms such as lethargy, diarrhea, gas, bloating, and nausea.
Furthermore, having excess heavy metals in our system can manifest in various ways, indicating issues like breathing difficulties, weakness, dehydration, nausea, abdominal pain, and sleeping difficulties.

How can you successfully undertake a detox?

First, decide what duration is most convenient for you—whether you choose a one week, two weeks, or a month-long cleanse.

Next, take a close look at your food and drink intake. During this period, you want to eliminate refined sugar, alternative sugars, processed foods (including yogurt), as well as heavy and oily meals from your diet. Instead, aim for freshly cooked vegetables, enhanced with spices and herbs, and incorporate whole grain meals into your routine. If you find that your digestion is strong, then you may even opt for a diet rich in raw foods. Fresh juices can be an excellent addition to your detox regimen!
Additionally, try to avoid eating after 5 or 6 PM; going to bed on a light stomach will help your body to regenerate and renew overnight.

Consider utilizing special herbs in your teas, face masks, and even baths to further enhance your detox experience.

Don't forget to drink plenty of water!

Make it a priority to go to bed early, ideally falling asleep before 10 PM, and reduce screen time at least one hour prior to sleep.

Enjoying refreshing walks in nature and gentle exercises can also be incredibly beneficial for your overall wellbeing.

Using an infrared sauna can be a wonderful extra step; scientific studies have shown it to be effective for detoxifying at the cellular level! Increasing circulation, enhancing mood.

What are the benefits you can gain?
