3 Ways To Priorities Your Health in 2024!

As we fly through December wondering “where the last year has gone” we start to think about how we would like to improve our lifestyles for 2024. But do we always manage to maintain those well meaning goals… or are you like me and sometimes don’t hold yourself accountable?


Here are three ways to make sure you prioritise your health and wellbeing for 2024 because I feel like its more important than ever to keep in tip top shape and keep your immunity high!


3 Ways prioritise your health in 2024👇️


1. Set your goals for the year and write them down; When you get your ‘ideal’ life written down on paper you can reflect back to it! Even more importantly write the reason why? it is so important to you.

For example; “I want to make sure I create a good sleep routine and enjoy 6 to 7 hours sleep a night” WHY= “to ensure I feel less stressed in the mornings. I want to be wide awake when I get up and I want to be present with my children in the morning” or “I want to take the dog for a brisk walk first thing”.


2. Learn Learn Learn; Make it YOUR responsibility to learn of new ways to help you feel better. If you get colds regularly or you feel rundown a lot of the time research your symptoms; think about your lifestyle choices and consider if you changed them and implemented new ways of thinking could that make you feel better?

Even professionals cannot have ALL of the answers, if you are feeling unwell and you aren’t satisfied by the first answer seek another answer until you ARE happy.

E.g. You feel fatiqued even with adequate sleep but are aware that you eat a lot of processed foods, could you be intolerant to something? Could you be lacking in vitamins? Do you go to the toilet regularly enough?


3. Get a Membership; Whether it’s to a health club, a local gym, a yoga venue or here at Mederi Wellness make a commitment to YOU and YOUR health because no one else is going to! Perhaps sign up with a friend or loved one to hold each other accountable, that way if you are feeling abit stuck you have got someone to get you moving!


Remember that only YOU know what is going on inside your head and your body, and this past year has shown us that times can be difficult therefore we must ensure we are capable of being more resilient in tougher times and more free, light and able in the FUN times.
